About Us
The first standalone donut store in Mississippi was established in 1959 by Becky Yelverton's father, and it was an instant hit. She grew up learning how to operate every part of the company. She relocated to Vicksburg in 1979 together with her husband and two kids in order to take over the established donut shop.
Another store opened in 1989. Two additional children were born during this period, and they grew up in the business. They would sleep beneath the counter early in the morning while Becky and her husband were making the donuts. The four kids all grew up working at the company. The youngest could count change faster than any other student in his first grade class, according to his teacher. As the company expanded, a third location was established in 2001.
A chance to create and produce a distinctive donut flour blend opened up in 2015. When the necessary infrastructure and tools were in place, Divine Donuts officially launched in August 2016!
